thank you, pilot club of tuscaloosa!

It was an honor to talk about writing, and to read from 'Tuscaloosa Moon' and 'Tuscaloosa Boneyard' tonight at the meeting of the oldest service-focused organization in Tuscaloosa.  It was founded in our city  in 1922!  Tonight I learned this Club's primary focus is on helping those with brain disorders and helping prevent traumatic brain disorders, especially in children via bike helmets and proper seat belt safety efforts.  And the dinner was delicious, too!  Thanks for the invitation to read and sign.  My hubby, Jim, also took the mic and spoke of Tuscaloosa life in the 1920's.  A fun night for us both!
