It was a great honor to be invited to present a fusion of my two life passions, fiction writing and clinical social work, today at the NASW Conference being held at Bryant Conference Center. Enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting new ones!
.What an awesome day! Thanks to all who stopped by my table to visit, and to those who purchased Tuscaloosa Moon and Tuscaloosa Boneyard! I so enjoyed spending time with each of you. Next signing, Barnes & Noble, May 6th. Hope to see you there!
Come join the fun of Authors on Parade, an OLLI class featuring seven local authors. We begin on Tuesday, April 18 with Delbert Reed, and on April 25th, Aileen Henderson and Anne Weston will be our invited guests. They are followed on May 2nd by Kevin Waltman and Jennifer Horne, and finally on the 9th of May, Patt Devitt and I will finish up the mini-mester. The classes are from 1:30 to 2:45. All authors will be signing their works. Call the OLLI office for further details. Hope you can make it!
I'll be there with 'Tuscaloosa Moon' and 'Tuscaloosa Boneyard.' Great beach reading, Mother's Day presents, and graduation gifts! Hope to see you there!
What an awesome honor to be chosen by the Arts and Humanities Council of Tuscaloosa as Literary Artist of 2017 at the Druid Arts Awards Ceremony on the 30th of March. Thank you to the Council, the selection committee of the Druid Arts Awards, as well as to all who have supported my work in so many, many different ways over the years. I am truly appreciative.
