Had such a fun time reading to Mrs. Anderson's kindergarten class on Wednesday, the 15th at Matthews Elementary School. The children were attentive, curious, and so sweet. Reading to children is the very best reason to be an author!

Loved our launching on 4/27 at Ernest & Hadley Booksellers of 'Tuscaloosa Stories,' a book published by Borgo Publishing for 4th graders through tween-aged readers about Tuscaloosa and its history. It was quite a celebration! Before that, Joey took the stage in the book I wrote featuring his messy room. This book, 'The Messy Room' is a beautiful picture book illustrated by Tina Modugno from Quebec.
On May 4th, Jim and I signed at Tuscaloosa Barnes & Noble Booksellers. What a wonderful day, and I so enjoyed the surprise offer that I read my book about Joey during the morning Barnes & Noble StoryTime. How lucky to have two wonderful, supportive bookstores for authors in our city! |
